Just to let you know that I've updated the bibliography linked to this site.

When making recommendations bear in mind that this is a list of books I've made notes on not a list of books I've read. You can assume I know about Heinlein, Norton, Gee, Mahy, Westall etc. Recommend me obscure and new books please!

More later tonight I hope.

Older YA sf you mave have missed: A couple of books by Ann Mason, The Stolen Law and The Dancing Satellite; a couple more by Mildred Ames, Anna to the Infinite Power and The Silver Link, The Silken Tie, which I remember as deeply creepy books about cloning, the adult manipulation of children, and the nature vs. nurture debate (the books aren't related, just on similar topics). These all came out in the 80s or early 90s, I think, or at least that's when I read them. Annabel and Edgar Johnson wrote a bunch of novels with somewhat sketchy science but very engaging characterization: The Danger Quotient, A Memory of Dragons, Prisoner of Psi, and An Alien Music. The Danger Quotient was the best of them.
